Austėja Landsbergienė, Ph.D., is a dynamic and influential figure in the field of education, renowned for her innovative approaches and commitment to nurturing both teachers and parents. As a female leader, activist, entrepreneur and founder of 13 successful schools, best-selling author she has established herself as a leading voice in the realm of no-drama parenting and contextual education.
Austėja and has enriched her expertise through studies at esteemed institutions, including Stanford University, Columbia University, Framingham State College, and Vilnius University. Her published books, such as “Elementary ABC For Parents and Teachers”, “Surviving adolescence For Parents and Teachers”, “No – Drama Parenting”, “Before school An Early Childhood Guide for Parents and Educators” and other demonstrate her deep understanding of the educational landscape and resonate with parents and educators alike.
As the founder of the Resilient Girl project, Austėja is dedicated to challenging societal norms and empowering young girls to break free from traditional gender stereotypes. Through this initiative, she advocates for resilience and gender equality, inspiring both parents and educators to give girls the tools to thrive.
Austėja is also a passionate advocate for early literacy and the transformative power of reading. She believes that reading nurtures curiosity, strengthens critical thinking, and lays the foundation for lifelong learning. This vision led her to launch Knygos Tauta (The Nation of Books) – a national initiative dedicated to fostering a sustainable reading culture and strengthening reading habits across families and educational communities, with the aim of raising a new generation of thoughtful, engaged readers. Austėja serves as a consultant for the Council of International Schools as an accreditation team member, contributing her expertise to promote high standards in education both in Lithuania and internationally.
